Das ist wunderbar! Danke, Herr Ostrzyga. Wenn man berühmte Kompositionen mit frischen Augen betrachtet, kann man wichtige Details enthüllen, die bei traditionellen Aufführungen übersehen wurden.

Man kann es mögen oder nicht, aber bei vielen solchen Kompositionen frage ich mich, ob Komponisten/ Komponistinnen eigentlich bereits Hörschäden haben. Die hohen Töne sind mir persönlich so unangenehm, dass ich sofort den Ton ausschalte. Das interessiert mich wirklich - stören sie sich als Musiker/innen nicht an diesem schrillen Ton? Es grentzt an Marderschreck.

Sehr spannend! Mein Großvater war Mozartforscher, er hätte diesen Beitrag geliebt.

11:00 About the paper in the Bärenreiter books. I own numerous Bärenreiter editions for Piano, including several of their Bach books that come in this pale blue color shown here. The paper itself is excellent, but the covers are absolute fingerprint magnets! The covers of these books have the most peculiar texture of all the sheet music in my collection. It almost feels gritty, with a very satin texture and appearance. Perhaps it's very durable and and resilient against wear and tear, but simply holding one of these books in your hand will leave all kinds of fingerprints and smudges from the oils in your hands. I'm always wiping these covers with a microfiber cloth to remove my disgusting paw prints! 🤣 But with that said, I do love these Bärenreiter scores. They are very high quality indeed.

It would be nicer in videos like this if you showed us the book better and how it's set up and produced and talked a little about this publication - there are thousands of videos of Piano players playing the Moonlight but not one really showing and talking about the sheet music you produce - you should show your product the dignity it deserves and give it some interest.

So all the 9th symphony recordings can be thrown out? :) And the Razumovsky 1. quartet is indeed wrong too on the recording that i like. But those notes are then repeated by the cello and the viola, are those also changed? It would be interesting to know how many mistakes did he find overall. Is there a longer version of this film?

Ulfila Peltnervor 52 Sekunden Charlotte Seithers hat sich soeben im Deutschlandfunk geoutet. Sie nennt so was "demokratische Komposition". Muss man nicht schön finden, muss man aber tolerieren! Möglicherweise sind unsere Ohren auch derzeit noch nicht so weit in der musikalisch demokratischen Evolution. Beethoven soll ja auch nicht jedem gefallen haben, zumal er ja noch dazu ein weißer alter Mann war und von Demokratie nichts wusste. Wissen wirs?

So sehr ich die Bärenreiter Urtext-Noten schätze, so wenig verstehe ich, warum man in diesem Video zeigt, wie diese Musik auf modernen Instrumenten gespielt wird, die sie nur entstellen. Warum sollte man sich die Mühe machen, eine Urtext-Version zu kaufen, wenn man die Musik dann sowieso mit den falschen Instrumenten verschandelt? Zeigt doch lieber Musiker, die auf _period instruments_ spielen, denn für DIE zahlen sich Urtext-Ausgaben tatsächlich aus.

Viele deutsche Komponisten war große Virtuosen und brilliante Musiker. Charlotte Seither nicht.
